Innovative startup incubator Swift Launch, in partnership with UZCARD payment system, conducted a training program for students of PDP University. The aim of the project is to train young specialists, develop startups and professional skills. This is a pilot launch within the framework of long-term cooperation aimed at supporting youth initiatives and developing career opportunities.
Swift Launch helped students to acquire knowledge and skills to create and develop startups. As part of the pilot project, Swift Launch provided training to 43 students from PDP University. After completing the intensive course, they presented their ideas and based on the selection results, 5 students who showed the best result were given the opportunity to get a job as junior specialists in UZCARD company.
It is worth noting that on December 2, in the office of UZCARD there was a presentation of the results of the training, as well as a discussion of the selection results. Students shared their impressions of the course, talked about their career prospects and received valuable feedback from mentors and project partners.
“Today I had an onboarding session at UZCARD, where I was successfully recruited together with fellow students. During the session we were introduced to the history of the company, as well as told about our responsibilities and expectations from work. The joint project of UZCARD and Swift Launch became a great motivation for me. The guys and I created a good project, worked well in a team, they helped us at every step, assigned us mentors – it was really inspiring”, – shared his impressions Yusuf Abrorov, a student of PDP University.
UZCARD supported the initiative by investing in the development of youth startups and helping successful students find jobs without interrupting the educational process. Participants of the joint program with Swift Launch received a unique employment opportunity in a major payment system, which opened new horizons for their career growth.
