The parties also agreed to develop and implement training programs, including workshops, seminars, and information campaigns aimed at increasing digital and financial literacy among the population, with a focus on regional areas. “The signed memorandum with UZCARD opens up new horizons for effective cooperation in financial protection and cybersecurity. In the context of growing internet fraud, we recognize how important it is to unite the efforts of the state and private sector to protect citizens’ interests. As part of this partnership, we will create educational programs that will help our citizens confidently navigate the world of finance and digital technologies”, – noted Head of the cybersecurity center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Bekhzod Mamadzhanov.
The most crucial goal of this memorandum is to improve public awareness about security measures in the digital world and to combat the growing threats related to cyber fraud.
“Cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an important step towards creating a safe digital environment for all citizens. We are always striving to promote financial and digital literacy among the population, as well as develop technologies that minimize the risks of fraud and cyber threats. I am convinced that only through joint efforts can we achieve real results in the field of cybersecurity and protecting citizens’ financial interests”, – commented General Director of UCMG LLC, David Melikidze.
