The payment systems UZCARD and UnionPay announced the development of their partnership at the UnionPay Global Partners Conference 2025, held in Shanghai (PRC).
Under the memorandum of understanding, the parties plan to expand the issuance of co-badge cards and launch QR code interoperability. By using the developed UZCARD network, UnionPay will be able to accelerate the expansion of its local presence and ensure seamless cross-border payments.
