As part of implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-246 dated 10 December 2025, the UZCARD payment system, in collaboration with commercial banks, launched a new online notification service for POS transactions.
This service allows the banks to receive real-time information about merchant sales made at POS terminals. Transaction data is automatically transmitted to banking systems at the time of payment.
This allows the banks to immediately credit funds to merchant accounts, providing them with instant access to revenue without waiting for standard settlement cycles. For banks, this service is not only an additional service but also a tool for increasing the profitability of the acquiring business.
The new service significantly improves the user experience with cashless payments:
- accelerates the crediting of funds;
- increases turnover and transaction activity of retail businesses;
- forms the basis for sales analytics and forecasting;
- reduces the burden on businesses during the transition to electronic payments.
The pilot launch of the service was conducted jointly with Infin Bank. During testing, the stability of data exchange, the correctness of business logic and integration with the banking system were tested using real transaction flows.
Additional banks are connecting at the present time, confirming the high interest of financial institutions in the new service and its market demand.
