On April 18, the Bukhara Night Race 2026, a nighttime run through the city’s historic center, took place in Bukhara. This year, over 120 UCMG (UZCARD Management Group) employees participated in various distances.
This is a familiar start for the UCMG team: last year, employees of companies within the ecosystem also took part in the Bukhara Night Race. This season, the group’s participation has increased, demonstrating a growing interest in these types of events. The team is expanding, and for many, preparation for the race begins well in advance.
Participation in such events is gradually becoming a part of the company’s internal life. They bring people together outside the usual work, strengthen team bonds, and create an additional impetus for internal engagement. This is why the Bukhara Night Race remains an event that UCMG returns to with a larger team.
As Yulia Tsapkova, Deputy General Director for HR at UCMG LLC, emphasized, participation in the Bukhara Night Race is especially important for the company, as such events naturally bring people together. They combine personal challenges, team support, and a vibrant atmosphere, with the overall spirit continuing even after the finish. According to her, in such events the trust and attention of employees to each other, as well as their conscious attitude toward sports and its importance in life, are especially noticeable.
This year, UCMG participated in the Bukhara Night Race with an expanded team. This participation was driven by personal motivation, team preparation, and the team’s interest in events that bring people together and become part of the company’s culture.
It should be noted that in early April, the UCMG team also took part in the Tashkent International Marathon, where about 100 employees of the company finished.
Participation in such starts reflects the team’s desire for development, endurance and achievement of results both in sports and in work.
