The national payment system UZCARD has become a partner of the documentary series “34-yillik orzu” created by Rocket Production — a large-scale project about the journey of Uzbekistan’s national football team toward the World Cup.
The series covers more than three decades, from the first attempts to qualify for the World Cup in the 1990s to the current qualification cycle. Each episode is dedicated to a separate qualification campaign and tells the story through the voices of players, coaches, fans, and those who worked behind the scenes but remained part of the team.
The project is based on rare archival materials, more than 200 national team matches restored using modern technologies, as well as personal stories. It is a story of generations who experienced victories, defeats, and years of anticipation alongside the national team.
Special attention is given to the lives of players and coaches, key matches, and the role of fans whose belief has remained an essential part of this shared history for decades. The project presents a complete narrative — from the team’s first steps to the present day — turning a sports chronicle into a national story.
For UZCARD, participation in this project means working with values that bring people together. Football in Uzbekistan is more than a sport — it is a shared emotion that spans generations and cities, uniting millions of people.
The premiere of “34-yillik orzu” will take place on May 2 at 19:00 on the iTV platform.
The project will be available to a wide audience, allowing viewers to relive the journey the country has taken together with its national team.
UZCARD. Life, made easy.
