UZCARD Academy announces the launch of training for the third cohort of students in Data Science, Python, and Cybersecurity. As part of the program launch, an open Welcome Day was held for the participants of the new cohort. The training will begin in May 2026 and will last five months.
The program is designed to train specialists capable of working with modern technological solutions and applying their knowledge to real-world tasks. Participants will gain a structured theoretical foundation and practical skills under the guidance of industry experts.
Selection for the program is carried out in several stages and includes logical reasoning and IQ tests, assessment of language skills, as well as an in-person mathematics test. Based on the results of the competitive selection process, a group of the strongest participants will be formed: the training will be fully free of charge for 100 people in Tashkent and 60 participants in the regions — Samarkand and Bukhara.
In the new cohort, the program is expanding beyond the capital for the first time. In Tashkent, the training will be conducted in a hybrid format, while in the regions it will be held online. This makes high-quality IT education more accessible to participants from different cities.
The educational process is focused on practical skills and market requirements. Upon completion of the program, the best graduates will receive internship recommendations and the opportunity to start a career in fintech, including potential further employment at UZCARD.
The official opening of the program took place on May 2 in the Welcome Day format, with the start of training scheduled for May 5.
“We see growing demand for specialists in data analytics, programming and cybersecurity, and our goal is not only to provide training, but also to develop practical thinking and readiness to work on real projects among participants. In the third cohort, we are expanding the geography of the program to give talented candidates from the regions access to high-quality IT education. It is important for us to create an ecosystem where graduates can grow and find their place in the fintech industry, including within the UZCARD team,” commented Farrukh Tursunkhodjaev, Head of UZCARD Academy.
