Artificial Intelligence in Banking: UZCARD Academy Hosted a Corporate Seminar for Hayot Bank

On September 18, the UZCARD Academy Skills Lab hosted a corporate seminar for Hayot Bank employees titled “AI in Practice: Opportunities, Limitations, and Principles of Use in Banking.

The event was attended by 20 Hayot Bank executives representing the bank’s key business and functional areas, including corporate and small business, operations, IT, digital products, treasury, compliance, and the Executive Board.

The main topic of the meeting was the application of artificial intelligence in the banking and fintech industries. Participants explored opportunities for integrating AI into banking processes, working with big data, building scoring models, and other scenarios for using the technology in the financial sector.

Special attention was given to how AI solutions can be applied in banks today, what problems they help solve, and what limitations must be taken into account when implementing such technologies.

For UZCARD Academy, the seminar marked the first event in its new B2B initiative. This model involves addressing a company’s specific training needs: the partner identifies a topic or area of interest, and the Academy selects a relevant expert and develops a program tailored to the task at hand.

Currently, the B2B division is operating on a pilot basis. At this stage, events are offered free of charge: UZCARD Academy is assessing the needs of the corporate market, as well as popular topics and training formats. The experience gained will serve as the foundation for the further development of educational programs for companies and partners.
