UZCARD continues to expand its cross-border money transfer service between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Orient Finans Bank has joined the network of partner banks: OFB Mobile users can now send funds directly from UZCARD cards to cards of the Elcard national payment system.
The integration with OFB Mobile makes sending money to Kyrgyzstan available through another familiar banking channel. Users only need to use the bank’s mobile application, without having to access separate services. Transfers can be made in the “Transfers” section of the OFB Mobile application.
The UZCARD–Elcard service was launched in 2025 as part of cooperation between the two national payment systems. Initially, transfers in Uzbekistan became available through the Unired application, after which Xazna, MAVRID and SQB Mobile joined the service.
Cross-border transfers are particularly useful in everyday situations — when users need to send money to family and loved ones or handle ongoing financial matters between the two countries. Expanding the number of partner banks makes this option more accessible to users.
