From October 1, new fares for buses and the metro are in effect in Tashkent. When paying with a bank card, the cost of a single trip is 2,500 sum, while paying in cash costs 3,000 sum. For passengers who use multiple modes of transportation or make transfers, the transfer fare offers additional savings.
You can take advantage of the transfer fare using the UZCARD transportation-banking card (TBC), which combines the functions of a regular bank card and an ATTO transit card. To pay, simply tap the card on the validator or link it to the ATTO app.
The transfer fare allows multiple trips within a single route to be counted together and reduces the cost of subsequent transfers within one hour.
The first trip when paying by card costs 2,500 sum, and subsequent transfers within a one-hour window cost 1,500 sum. Depending on the sequence of bus and metro trips, certain subsequent bus trips may be free.
However, the metro can only be used once within a single one-hour fare period. If you re-enter the metro, a new 60-minute billing period begins.
Today, UZCARD transit and banking cards can be obtained at 15 banks: Agrobank, APEX BANK, Asia Alliance Bank, BRB, Davr Bank, Garant Bank, Hamkorbank, Ipoteka Bank, MKBANK, NBU, SQB, TBC Bank, Trastbank, Universalbank, and Xalq banki.
A wide network of partner banks allows you to choose a convenient bank to apply for a UZCARD and enjoy the benefits of the transfer fare on your daily trips.
