Instant UZCARD Issuance Now Available at Universal Bank

The instant card issuance system has many advantages. One of the main benefits is that clients spend less time waiting for their card to be issued. An equally important factor is the simplification of the issuance process, which helps attract new customers and stimulate sales. You can now receive a new UZCARD within 10 minutes at any branch of Universal Bank.

With this new offer from UZCARD, the bank now issues cards directly at its branches on the day of the clientʻs request. The client simply fills out an application and signs a contract with the bank to open a card account. They then receive and activate the card and can immediately start conducting financial transactions.

The new UZCARDs are embossed cards with NFC technology support. They allow for both contact and contactless payments, ATM services, and easy and fast payment for public transportation.

Key Conditions:

  • The card is issued in the national currency;
  • Validity period: 3 years;
  • Reissued upon expiration.

In addition, embossed plastic cards offer a high level of security and several other advantages:

  • These cards do not wear out over time; the embossed details remain readable.
  • Some UZCARD holders are visually impaired or have disabilities. For them, it is crucial to read card information using touch.

The plastic can be used as a standard payment product with a classic range of features:

  • Cash withdrawals at ATMs or bank counters;
  • Money transfers;
  • Cashless payment for goods and services.

“Instant card issuance will definitely help Universal Bank enhance customer loyalty, which has always been a priority for the bank, and also reduce internal process costs,” noted Mavzurdjon Ismailov, Head of the Department for Organization and Development of Banking Services.

The service has already been joined by National Bank of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Agrobank, ASIA ALLIANCE BANK, Asakabank, DAVR BANK, Garant Bank, Hamkorbank, Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan, Peopleʻs Bank, Poytaxt Bank, and Uzpromstroybank.

By the end of this year, UZCARD plans to connect all bank branches in the Republic to the service, ensuring the availability of embossed UZCARDs at any point in the country.
