In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 168 of March 18, 2022, “On Additional Measures to Further Reduce State Participation in the Economy and Accelerate Privatization,” a 75% share in the charter capital of “Common Republican Processing Centre” LLC (hereinafter referred to as CRPC), owned by the Agency for State Asset Management, has been sold to the participants of CRPC proportionally to their shares. This was carried out in accordance with Part 4 of Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Limited and Additional Liability Companies” and Paragraph 14, Section IV of the Regulation “On the Procedure for the Sale of State Shares in the Charter Capitals of Limited Liability Companies” (Appendix No. 3 to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 279 of October 6, 2014).
It is important to note that these changes in the participants will not affect the operation of the UZCARD payment system or impact cardholders. By implementing the latest technologies, URPC will continue to strive to provide exceptional service for UZCARD payment system cardholders and maintain high service standards for its participants and partners.
