From October 21 to 27 competitions of the Final of the Extraordinary World Cup on show jumping – “FEI Jumping World Challenge Final” will be held in Tashkent on the basis of “Universal Jumping Agro” Equestrian sports complex, in which representatives from more than 30 countries of the world, including the Dominican Republic, UAE, Ecuador, Iran, Poland, Estonia and others take part. This important event is held under the auspices of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) and the Asian Equestrian Federation. This event will be not only a sporting but also a cultural event, contributing to the strengthening of international ties.
UZCARD continued the experience of active participation in supporting the development of equestrian sport in the country and sponsored the event. A significant impetus for its promotion was given by the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated March 11, 2021 № PP-5024 “On additional measures for further development of horse breeding and equestrian sport, as well as popularization of modern pentathlon and polo”, which emphasizes the development of equestrian clubs in the country and participation of national teams in world championships and other major international competitions.
Supporting equestrian sport demonstrates the importance of its development. Such events inspire young people to engage in sports and form a positive image of the country in the international arena. The successes of our athletes at such competitions show that through joint efforts we can achieve high results and inspire the new generation.
Also in 2023, UZCARD provided financial support in holding the Nations Cup and World Cup of the Eurasian League, as well as international competitions for the Cup of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cup of the Chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sport of Uzbekistan. High organization of such international tournaments in our country and good rating indicators of our athletes contributed to the participation of our national team in team competitions in the finals of “Nations Cup” in Barcelona from 2021 to 2023. In singles competitions in 2022 Kurbanov Bekzod Leipzig (Germany) and Tuyakbaev Nurzhan in 2023 Omaha (USA) and in 2024 Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) successfully participated and demonstrated excellent results.
