Complete freedom of payment with Tez QR: simply scan the QR code on the terminal and choose any convenient card or e-wallet
The Tez QR service, which allows users to pay for purchases by scanning the QR code on the terminal directly from their phone—without the need to use a plastic card—continues to evolve and makes cashless payments even more convenient. Users can choose any preferred payment method: UZCARD, HUMO, VISA, Mastercard, UnionPay, instalment cards, as well as a bank account or e-wallet. Today, Tez QR is one of the key services of the UZCARD ecosystem, uniting retail outlets, banks and customers within a single payment format.
The first to receive the updated functionality were customers of Universalbank, Anorbank and Xalq Banki.
In Universalbank’s UniRED mobile app, users can now pay via Tez QR not only with UZCARD cards but also with HUMO cards and VISA cards issued by Universalbank.
The Anorbank app now supports payments with HUMO cards, Anorbank’s branded instalment card and, of course, UZCARD cards.
The Xazna app from Xalq Banki allows users to make payments with UZCARD and HUMO cards.
In the near future, the ability to pay with cards from different payment systems will also appear in other partner apps.
Today, Tez QR is used in more than 80 000 retail outlets across the country and is integrated into 24 mobile apps. To pay for a purchase, simply scan the QR code displayed on the terminal when you select card payment. The payment is then confirmed by the user in the mobile app — convenient, fast and without the need for a physical card.
Tez QR makes cashless payments truly universal. Users choose which card to pay with, while the service unites different payment systems, eliminating the need to carry cash or search for the right card. Everything you need to pay is already on your phone.
Detailed information about the service is available on the website tezqr.uzcard.uz, and consultations are provided by the UZCARD Call Centre, available 24/7 at 1257.
