UZCARD, as a major player in the fintech industry, actively promotes the automation of many banking service processes. With UZCARD’s new solution, banks can now perform instant issuance of payment cards directly in their branches, achieving a radically new level of customer service.
Now, the instant issuance service for new UZCARD cards is available in 49 Hamkorbank branches across Uzbekistan. The personalization process for these cards, from the moment the client contacts the bank to the moment of issuance and activation, takes about five minutes.
The new UZCARD cards are embossed and NFC-enabled, allowing for contact and contactless payments, ATM services, and one-touch payments for public transport.
Comparing different types of cards, embossed banking cards are considered more functional. The raised symbols on them are nearly impossible to forge.
Other advantages of these cards include:
- Durability: Embossed cards do not wear out over time, and the raised details remain readable.
- Prestige: Traditionally, embossed cards were premium products, intended for gold and platinum cards, symbolizing status. Today, such plastic has become a hallmark for banks.
- Accessibility: The ability to read card details by touch is vital. Cardholders include not only healthy clients but also those with disabilities. This provides additional socialization opportunities for visually impaired clients and shows care for their needs.
To use this offer, clients need to visit one of the bank’s branches with their passport.
The service has already been joined by the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, People’s Bank, Agrobank, Asia Alliance Bank, Asakabank, Davr Bank, and Garant Bank.
Throughout 2023, UZCARD plans to extend this service to all bank branches in the Republic, ensuring the availability and convenience of receiving embossed UZCARDs nationwide.
