Fan Card from UZCARD: Payment Card and Season Ticket for Neftchi Football Club Matches

UZCARD announces the launch of the Fan Card — the first integrated football fan card in Uzbekistan, combining payment functionality with an annual season ticket for attending Neftchi Football Club home matches. The project has been implemented in partnership with Universal Bank, and the card is now available to fans.

The Fan Card is a fully fledged payment card of the UZCARD national payment system and can be used for everyday purchases as well as online payments. In addition, it functions as a season ticket granting access to the club’s home matches.

Upon receiving a Fan Card, the fan is assigned a specific seat at the stadium for the entire season. Information about the sector, row, and seat is displayed on the back of the card, confirming personalized access to matches without the need for separate tickets. Entry to the stadium is carried out through turnstiles using ATTO infrastructure, ensuring fast and convenient access to sporting events without the use of cash.

The Fan Card also creates a digital fan profile that includes match attendance history. This data will serve as the basis for the future development of a loyalty program and the provision of personalized offers.

As part of the project, work is underway to connect retail and service businesses to the partner program. It is planned to expand the card’s usability across food service establishments, sports and fitness centers, and retail outlets through the loyalty program.

The launch of the Fan Card is part of a broader strategy to digitalize sports infrastructure and develop the UZCARD ecosystem. Initially, the project is being implemented for fans of Neftchi Football Club, with the possibility of expanding the format to other clubs and sports venues across the country under consideration.

The Fan Card is the first and currently the only product of its kind in Uzbekistan, combining payment infrastructure and an access control system into a single solution and ushering in a new era of digital services for sports fans in the country.
