On June 7, the UZCARD Fintech League 2026 corporate football tournament concluded, bringing together representatives from Uzbekistan’s banking, financial, and technology sectors. The tournament was organized by Football Corp with the general support of the UZCARD payment system. Over several weeks, the football pitch became a focal point for the professional community, where sporting excitement was naturally combined with a spirit of partnership and healthy competition.
A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament: Hayotbank, MKBank, SQB, InfinBANK, Poytaxt Bank, Asakabank, OKA, BRB, TBC Bank, Ipak Yuli Bank, NBU, Beelab, OFB, Alif, Ucell, and UCMG. The matches were held in an intense and dynamic atmosphere, reflecting the high level of preparation and engagement of all teams.
As a result of the competition, OFB secured third place after defeating Asakabank in the bronze medal match. SQB became the silver medalist of the tournament, while Hayotbank was named the winner of the second season of the UZCARD Fintech League 2026.
A new stage in the project’s development was marked by the launch of the UZCARD E-Fintech League—an esports tournament based on a football simulator on PlayStation. This format naturally complemented the classic matches and provided participants with an opportunity to showcase their skills in virtual football. UCMG became the winner of the first season of the UZCARD E-Fintech League.
The tournament took place from May 23 to June 7 and became a logical continuation of the sporting tradition within the professional community that unites banks, fintech companies, and representatives of the technology industry. In their day-to-day work, participants contribute to the development of the country’s financial technologies, digital services, and payment infrastructure, while on the football pitch they demonstrate team spirit, leadership, and commitment to a common goal.
The tournament’s atmosphere was further enhanced by its historic context—the debut of Uzbekistan’s national team at the FIFA World Cup. This milestone made the football theme even more resonant and emotionally significant for all participants.
