UZCARD Supported the Initiative to Develop Financial Literacy Among Youth

UZCARD has participated in a large-scale social program aimed at improving financial literacy among young people. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Central Bank and a number of partner banks and has become an important step in developing educational infrastructure.

As part of the project, 100 new libraries were opened in mahallas across the country, which received educational board games from UZCARD. The company donated 50 copies of the game “Financial Code: Who am I?” and 100 sets of “Business Code.” These games introduce children and teenagers to the basics of financial literacy and entrepreneurship in a playful format, helping them master basic economic concepts through engaging interactions.

The ceremonial openings of libraries in twenty mahallas were accompanied by animation programs, fun games, and the screening of an educational video about the safe management of personal finances.

This new initiative helped turn mahalla libraries into educational centers where children learn to make responsible financial decisions, develop entrepreneurial thinking, and acquire skills necessary in the modern world.
