On June 15, 2025, the finals of UZCARD Fintech League – a corporate tournament that united leading banks and fintech companies of Uzbekistan – took place at JAR Stadium.
The strongest teams of the season met on the final game day. In the match for the third place SQB team won a confident victory over NBU with the score 3:0 (during the game the referees recorded 3 yellow cards). The final match was tense but correct: InfinBANK won 1:0, defeating Hayot Bank and winning the Fintech League 2025 title.
The finals matches were held in a dynamic and bright atmosphere of sports excitement. Fans actively supported their teams, creating emotional support in the stands and emphasizing the team spirit of the corporate community.
The final tournament became a point of attraction for bank employees – participants of the finals – and their families, gathering that evening the professional banking community as active spectators and supporters.
Both banks and fintech companies of the country took part in the current season of the Fintech League, which was a difference between the tournament and the traditional banking championship. The organizers also plan to determine the best players of the season – scorer, goalkeeper and coach – the results will be announced additionally.
There is a continuation of the sports history ahead: the second season of the UZCARD Bank Football League is planned to be held this fall.
The debut season of Fintech League 2025 coincided with a special moment for Uzbekistan’s football community: the national team won a ticket to the 2026 World Cup for the first time in history. In this context, the corporate tournament became not only a sporting event within the professional community, but also a reflection of the growing interest in soccer in the country as a whole.
