On July 24, another graduation ceremony was held in Fergana for the Hamroh Biznes Maktabi educational program, implemented by HAMROH in partnership with ALPHA and with the support of UZCARD. The participants successfully completed the training, which was designed to foster entrepreneurship and strengthen management skills.
Today, Hamroh Biznes Maktabi has already brought together more than 150 graduates across seven training groups in Tashkent, Nukus, and Fergana. The program helps women not only gain new knowledge but also apply it in practice—building effective management systems, strengthening marketing efforts, developing financial planning, and scaling their own businesses.
The project’s results are already evident. After completing the training, the women entrepreneurs are implementing financial accounting systems, refining their marketing strategies, revising their pricing approaches, expanding their teams, opening new branches, and entering new markets. Many report increased profits, a growing customer base, and more efficient business processes.
“Each participant comes to the program with her own story, experience, and goals. For some, this is their first step into entrepreneurship; for others, it’s an opportunity to take an existing business to the next level. We create an environment where women gain not only knowledge but also practical tools, community support, and confidence in their own abilities,” noted representatives from HAMROH.
A key feature of Hamroh Biznes Maktabi is its practical training format. ALPHA notes that the program is structured around the participants’ real-world business challenges: even while they’re still in the program, they develop solutions that they then implement in their own companies. According to a post-program survey of graduates, the program leads to tangible changes in their businesses: female entrepreneurs begin keeping financial records and calculating profits, revise their strategies, marketing, and pricing, open new branches, and enter new markets. Specific results include a 35–50% increase in profits, a 45–50% expansion of the customer base, a doubling of revenue, and team growth. Some graduates note that the training has transformed not only their business metrics but also their approach to management and decision-making.
Program graduates come from a variety of sectors, including education, the textile industry, retail, food service, manufacturing, agriculture, the beauty and wellness industry, consulting, and other fields. This diversity allows participants to exchange experiences, generate new ideas, and build a professional community of women entrepreneurs.
“Supporting women’s entrepreneurship contributes to the sustainable development of the country’s economy. For UZCARD, it is important to create opportunities that help women grow their own businesses, acquire new skills, and move forward with confidence. It is especially rewarding to see that the knowledge gained through Hamroh Biznes Maktabi is turning into tangible results: participants are scaling up their businesses, exploring new areas, and entering new markets. This is precisely what confirms the practical value of the program,” noted the program’s partners, the UZCARD payment system.
Hamroh Biznes Maktabi continues to expand the project’s reach, opening up new opportunities for women entrepreneurs in various regions of Uzbekistan. The project is building a community where knowledge serves as the foundation for sustainable business growth, and women entrepreneurs gain the tools they need for the long-term development of their companies.
