The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UZCARD will hold a student forum on financial literacy within the framework of Global Money Week 2025

On April 26, 2025, the Youth Forum on Financial Literacy, a key event of the international educational campaign Global Money Week, will be held at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Tashkent. The forum is organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the national payment system UZCARD.

Global Money Week has been held annually in Uzbekistan since 2015 and is aimed at developing financial literacy among young people. From 2020, the programme covers all regions of the country. In 2024, more than 140 events were held across the country as part of the campaign, in which more than 123 thousand schoolchildren and students took part. This year, UZCARD officially joins the organizers for the first time, strengthening the private sector’s contribution to the formation of economic and digital literacy of the younger generation.

The 2025 Forum will be a platform for open dialogue between students and representatives of the financial industry. The event programme will include educational speeches by experts, presentations by the country’s leading banks, as well as interactive formats allowing students to learn about modern tools in finance and fintech. Special attention will be paid to the issues of conscious personal finance management, career planning and orientation in the digital environment.

In addition to the educational programme, the participants will enjoy an internship and job fair with real offers from commercial banks and UZCARD, a networking zone, an entertainment programme and coffee breaks. One of the key moments of the forum will be the performance of a special guest, whose name will be announced just before the event.

The forum is focused on students of 1-4 years of higher education in Tashkent.

The organizers are confident that participation in the forum will be a valuable experience for students, which will help them not only to raise their financial awareness, but also to identify areas for future professional growth.
