May 16, 2022, Tashkent, Uzbekistan – UZCARD, the key national payment operator of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Innotech, a leading provider of high-tech solutions for business digitalization, will summarize the results of the Startup Bridge accelerator program within the framework of the International PLAS-Forum, which will be held in Tashkent from 25 to 26 May 2022. A special event – Demo Day – will be held on May 25.
The event will be held at the PLAS-Forum at the International Hotel in Tashkent on May 25. 6 startups became finalists of the accelerator “Startup Bridge”:
- Teamwork is an online platform for finding IT service providers (freelancers) in Uzbekistan;
- Sug’urta bozori is an insurance marketplace that allows users to compare prices and terms of insurance products and make a purchase;
- Mind is a project to automate business processes for internal and external document management, as well as financial activities and big data processing;
- Avlo is a marketplace ecosystem that brings together B2B marketplaces;
- Marta is a contactless payment service through the use of a smartphone with NFC;
- GrowyMe is a project that focuses on developing people’s conscious thinking through trainings, creating interest clubs, personal and group coaching.
Technology entrepreneurs will present their business ideas to the international expert jury: competitive advantages of products, financial models and unit economics of projects. The finalists of the program will have an opportunity to attract investments from Innotech, UZCARD Ventures and other venture funds, as well as an opportunity to integrate their developments into the ecosystem of leading fintech organizations.
The organizers invite representatives of venture funds, business angels, fintech and IT companies, startups, payment systems, research and consulting agencies, as well as the international banking community and other industries. Startup Bridge accelerator was launched in February 2022 by UZCARD and Innotech Group of Companies.
