Today, technological advancements have significantly eased and sped up the process of issuing embossed cards. UZCARD’s substantial efforts in this direction have allowed banks to significantly reduce their reliance on third-party services, enabling the instant issuance of payment cards directly at their branches and achieving a radically new level of customer service.
Now, the service for the instant issuance of new UZCARDs is available at 45 branches of Uzpromstroybank. Bank clients have a unique opportunity to pick up their card on the day of their application. The personalization process from the moment of application to the moment of issuance and activation of the card takes no more than 10 minutes, allowing immediate access to necessary financial operations.
The new UZCARDs are embossed cards with NFC technology support. They enable both contact and contactless payment methods, usage of ATMs, and quick and easy payments for public transportation.
The main reason for embossing plastic cards is the high level of security, along with several other advantages:
- Embossed cards do not wear out over time; the embossed details remain legible.
- Traditionally, embossed cards are premium-class products with a status symbol, and today such plastic is becoming the business card of many banks.
- Among UZCARD holders are visually impaired citizens who can easily read the embossed details on the card using their fingers.
To take advantage of this offer, clients simply need to come to one of the bank branches with their passport.
The service has already been joined by the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Agrobank, Asakabank, Asia Alliance Bank, Garant Bank, Davr Bank, Hamkorbank, People’s Bank, Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan, and Uzpromstroybank.
By the end of 2023, UZCARD plans to connect all bank branches in the Republic to the service, ensuring the availability of embossed UZCARDs throughout the country.
