Users of Uzum Bank can now make payments via QR code directly in the mobile app without using a physical card.
UZCARD and Uzum Bank announce the launch of the TEZ QR service in the bank’s mobile application. Uzum Bank customers can pay for purchases by scanning a QR code directly in the app, with no need for a physical card.
To make a payment, the user simply asks the cashier to select card payment on the UZCARD terminal, opens the Uzum Bank app, scans the QR code displayed on the terminal, and confirms the payment. Payments can be made using any card linked in the app, including UZCARD, Visa, or HUMO.
Today, TEZ QR is one of the most in-demand services within UZCARD’s payment infrastructure. The solution is available at more than 140,000 retail locations nationwide and is supported by over 28 mobile applications from banks and payment organizations.
With the integration of Uzum Bank, the TEZ QR ecosystem continues to expand its reach.
