UZCARD and CDTI entered into a strategic partnership to support entrepreneurs

The fintech market of Uzbekistan is developing at a high pace, raising standards of payment infrastructure. The entrepreneurs need not only accept non-cash payments, but also to be confident in the stability, transparency and reliability of the processes that ensure the daily operation of the business.

Being a national payment system, UZCARD is developing an open and standardized infrastructure for acquiring and non-cash payments. As part of this strategy, UZCARD entered into a strategic partnership with CDTI, the owner of the flagship trade automation solution Smart Business (ex. UZKASSA). The signed memorandum consolidates the parties’ unified approach to the development of the payment environment, based on standards, manageability of processes and responsibility to business.

CDTI solutions are used today by tens of thousands of retail outlets and small and medium-sized businesses across the country. For them, the uninterrupted operation of payment and cash services directly affects revenue, quality of service and customer trust.

As part of an in-depth partnership, CDTI and UZCARD approved a Roadmap for the next 90 days. The document sets out the principles of interaction between the parties and a step-by-step action plan aimed at creation of a stable, technologically verified and predictable infrastructure for Smart Business clients, guaranteeing the continuity of business processes.

Currently, CDTI solutions are used by about 30% of entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan, challenging high responsibility in the development of payment infrastructure. The partnership between UZCARD and CDTI becomes part of a systematic approach to industry development and forms the basis for long-term cooperation, creating a stable and predictable business environment.

CDTI highly valuesthe partnership with UZCARD and is aimed at achievement of high results.
