From April 20 to 23, a series of international show jumping tournaments will take place in Tashkent at the “Universal Jumping Agro” equestrian center. These events will include the stages of the Nations Cup and the World Cup of the Eurasian League, as well as international competitions for the President’s Cup of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chairman’s Cup of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Uzbekistan, held under the patronage of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) and the Asian Equestrian Federation.
UZCARD has continued its active participation in these tournaments, acting as one of the sponsors of the event. The main goal of the competitions is to popularize equestrian sports in the Republic of Uzbekistan and to enhance the skills of the participants. The sector received a significant boost from the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 11, 2021, No. PP-5024 “On Additional Measures for the Further Development of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports, as well as the Promotion of Modern Pentathlon and Polo,” which emphasizes the development of equestrian clubs across the country and the participation of national teams in world championships and other major international tournaments.
Show jumping is one of the most challenging and at the same time, one of the most spectacular equestrian competitions. The tournaments will feature courses with obstacle heights ranging from 120 to 150 cm, depending on the program’s direction. The best riders from the region, as well as athletes from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Georgia, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Türkiye, USA, and Finland, will demonstrate their skills.

The very fact that such competitions are held in the country is a significant step for the development of mass sports, which is fundamental to the nation’s health. Since last year, the company has been sponsoring a series of international show jumping tournaments, including the stages of the Nations Cup and the World Cup of the Eurasian League, and values the opportunity to support the development of such bright and spectacular competitions. Moreover, it is very important to popularize this sport among the youth, teaching them horseback riding and instilling a love for horses.
