On April 8, 2025, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between UCMG company (part of the UZCARD ecosystem) and American University of Technology (AUT) took place at UZCARD head office.
The document was signed by UCMG CEO David Melikidze and AUT Rector Dr Said Irandost. The signing of the memorandum was the first step towards building a long-term, effective and mutually beneficial partnership in the field of education, professional development and career opportunities.
The parties agreed to implement joint educational initiatives, including:
• development and implementation of Mini MBA programme for employees of UZCARD Group of Companies;
• providing internships and career opportunities for AUT students and graduates on a competitive basis;
• participation of both parties in cross-marketing and educational initiatives.
According to the agreements, employees and children of the company’s employees will be able to receive a 25% discount for studying at AUT, and representatives of the university will be able to participate in professional events and festivals organized jointly with the partner.
The memorandum emphasizes the mutual interest in the development of the educational environment, as well as in the formation of a new generation of highly qualified specialists for Uzbekistan’s digital economy.
