Winners of “UZCARD AVLOD” grant program were determined

Within the framework of the “UZCARD AVLOD” initiative, timed to the 20th anniversary of UZCARD, the competitive selection has been completed, as a result of which undergraduate students will receive grants to pay for study contracts for one year of study. The program, aimed at supporting talented and active students from Uzbekistan’s leading universities, seeks to make a significant contribution to the development of education and create new opportunities for promising young people.

The grant program covers four prestigious educational institutions:

  • Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT)
  • Inha University in Tashkent (IUT)
  • Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIST)
  • Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy (TUIT)

The UZCARD AVLOD program is aimed at supporting students who not only demonstrate high academic achievements, but also actively participate in social life and various volunteer initiatives. The main goal of this initiative is to stimulate the intellectual development of young people, helping them to focus on their studies and personal growth without financial obstacles. In the context of global competition and rapid technological change, it is especially important to support students who can become innovators in their fields, introducing cutting-edge ideas and creating the future of the country’s economy.

As part of the program, the UZCARD team held a series of presentations at universities, providing details about the project and its opportunities for participants. A total of 137 applications were submitted from 2nd-3rd year students.

It is worth noting that the commission for selecting grant winners decided to expand the list of laureates to 11 people. This decision was the result of a thorough review of applications, which identified many talented students who demonstrated outstanding achievements in a variety of areas.
