The UZCARD and OSON payment systems have expanded payment options via the TEZ QR service in the OSON mobile app. Users can now pay for purchases using a QR code not only with UZCARD cards but also with other bank cards, as well as through the app’s built-in wallet.
TEZ QR has long been available to OSON users, but previously, payments through the service were only possible with UZCARD cards. Now, when scanning a QR code, users can choose the most convenient payment method—a UZCARD card, a card from another payment system, or the OSON wallet.
Using TEZ QR takes just a few seconds. The customer simply needs to tell the cashier they’d like to pay using a QR code, after which the terminal generates a payment code. Next, the customer opens the OSON app, scans the code, selects a card or wallet to pay with, and confirms the transaction.
The expanded functionality of TEZ QR makes everyday payments even more convenient and flexible. Users no longer need to limit themselves to a single payment method—all available options are integrated into the familiar interface of the mobile app, allowing them to choose the most convenient option depending on the situation.
Today, TEZ QR is already integrated into 31 mobile apps from banks and payment organizations, and users can make payments via the service at more than 140,000 retail locations throughout Uzbekistan. With each new partner, the service’s ecosystem continues to expand, providing users with more opportunities to make fast and convenient cashless payments.
