Ahead of the new academic year and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the UZCARD payment system supported a social initiative by the VAQF Public Charitable Foundation aimed at helping children from families in need.
As part of the initiative, 490 schoolchildren from various regions of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, received sets of school uniforms, footwear and school supplies. The assistance was organized across several regions of the country to support children and their families as they prepared for the start of the new academic year.
In addition, UZCARD provided the schoolchildren with branded backpacks, which were included in the gift sets.
