From 15 to 24 May, Tashkent is hosting the 8th International Opera and Ballet Festival “Toshkent Bahori”. UZCARD is acting as the platinum partner of one of the key cultural events of the spring season.
From 15 to 24 May, the “Toshkent Bahori” festival is taking place at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre. This large-scale project brings together opera and ballet productions, gala concerts, and performances by internationally acclaimed artists.
Part of the festival programme will be held outdoors near the theatre. The schedule includes gala concerts dedicated to the opening and closing of the festival, premieres of the operas “Yedige” and “Don Juan”, the ballets “Giselle”, “Swan Lake” and “La Bayadère”, as well as Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “La Traviata”.
The festival headliners will include world-renowned opera soloists: Anastasia Bartoli, Teresa Iervolino, Giovanni Sala, Giuseppe Toia, Alberto Gazale, Emanuele Cordaro, Francesca Dotto, Davide Giusti, Dario Di Vietri and Dave Monaco.
For UZCARD, participation in the “Toshkent Bahori” festival is a continuation of its systematic efforts to support the country’s cultural life. The company consistently partners with projects that expand public access to significant events, support the development of the urban cultural environment, and create new points of attraction for residents and guests of the capital.
“For UZCARD, supporting cultural initiatives is a contribution to the development of the environment in which society lives. Art and culture shape the quality of urban life and create a space for dialogue, inspiration and shared values. For a technology and fintech company, it is important to be part not only of the country’s digital infrastructure, but also of its cultural development. The ‘Toshkent Bahori’ festival brings people together through music, theatre and live art, preserving cultural heritage while also opening it up to new audiences. By supporting such projects, UZCARD invests in the development of a modern, open and harmonious urban culture,” UZCARD noted.
