Women Changing the Future: Hamroh Biznes Maktabi Program Concludes in Fergana with the Support of UZCARD

On June 25, Fergana hosted the final project defense and certificate award ceremony for participants of the Uzbek-language Group No. 1 of the Hamroh Biznes Maktabi educational program. The initiative is implemented by HAMROH in partnership with ALPHA, with the support of UZCARD, and is aimed at developing women’s entrepreneurship across the regions of Uzbekistan.

As part of the program, participants completed training in key areas of business management — from marketing and financial planning to project management and customer relations. The main outcome of the training was the development of their own entrepreneurial initiatives, which the participants presented to an expert jury during the final defense.

Hamroh Biznes Maktabi provides women not only with theoretical knowledge, but also with practical tools for launching and developing their own businesses. Throughout the course, participants worked on their business projects, refined their ideas, analyzed the market, and developed strategies for further growth.

A distinctive feature of the program is its practice-oriented approach: the learning process is built around the participants’ real projects, enabling them to immediately apply the knowledge gained in practice and receive feedback from experts.

The final defense became an important stage of the program, giving participants the opportunity to present the results of their work, receive expert recommendations, and exchange experience with other women entrepreneurs.

Jamoliddin Ruzimov, Deputy General Director of HAMROH, took part in the certificate award ceremony and personally congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the program.

“Every new region where Hamroh Biznes Maktabi is launched means new stories of women who once found the courage to take their first step. We want these stories to grow in number, and for entrepreneurship to become not an exception for women, but a natural choice,” HAMROH stated.

Sabina Batirshina, Head of PR & CSR at UZCARD, also attended the certificate award ceremony and congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the training and presenting their own business projects.

“For UZCARD, it is especially important to support initiatives that help women unlock their potential, gain new knowledge, and move confidently toward bringing their own ideas to life. Today, we see not just graduates of an educational program, but women who are ready to create jobs, develop their communities, and contribute to the economic development of the regions. Behind every project presented today are hard work, courage, and a strong drive for growth, and we are pleased to be part of this journey,” said Sabina Batirshina.

ALPHA emphasized that the program contributes to building a community of active women who not only develop their own projects, but also support one another on the path to entrepreneurship. The main objective of the program is not simply to provide participants with a set of theoretical knowledge, but to help each of them achieve a concrete result in developing their business. The training is built around work on each participant’s own project, culminating in its final defense. During the program, participants master tools for market and financial analysis, immediately apply them in practice, and develop solutions that help grow and strengthen their businesses.

Hamroh Biznes Maktabi continues its work across the regions of Uzbekistan, creating new opportunities for women who aspire to develop their own businesses and contribute to the growth of local entrepreneurship.
