From 9 to 11 May 2025, MAZZA Food & Music Festival – one of the largest gastronomic events of spring – was held at the summer platform of UZEXPO in Tashkent. For three days the festival area brought together more than 18 thousand guests. The festival was held in the evening hours – from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. – and was accompanied by a music programme with DJs and artists, a recreation area, photo zones and various food corners.<\/p>\n
UZCARD, the general partner of the event, presented Tez QR payment solution at the festival. Visitors actively used the technology to pay for dishes and drinks at the partners through the banking application – by scanning a unique QR code at the POS-terminal in the point of sale. Tez QR demonstrated itself as a convenient and fast tool in the conditions of an active site with high footfall.<\/p>\n
During two days 2 smartphones iPhone 16, 4 portable speakers JBL Flip 6 and 4 pairs of wireless headphones Apple AirPods Pro were awarded. There were also interactive competitions among the audience, the winners of which received branded merchandise from UZCARD.<\/p>\n

MAZZA became a platform where Tez QR and Moment cards proved their practicality: registration – in minutes, payment – in one step. This is the essence of the digital environment that we are building,” noted Aziz Abduganiev, Director of Product Design and Development.<\/p>\n
