UZCARD has updated the terms of use of its automatic direct debit service to make it more transparent and predictable for users.<\/p>\n

Starting April 15, 2026, when automatic direct debits are initiated by banks, a minimum non-reducible balance will be introduced: an amount of no less than three base calculation units (BCU) will always remain on the card. This means that debits will no longer reduce the balance to zero; transactions will be executed only for amounts exceeding the established threshold.<\/p>\n

Automatic direct debits are commonly used to settle cardholders\u2019 obligations to banks and other financial institutions (such as loans, installment plans, and other liabilities), making this mechanism an important component of payment discipline.<\/p>\n

These changes are implemented in accordance with the rules of the UZCARD payment system.
\nThese terms do not apply to cards for which the bank has obtained the card details directly from the customer with confirmed One-Time Password (OTP) verification.<\/em><\/p>\n
