On May 4, Tashkent will host the ZAKOVAT intellectual game for Financial Literacy Ambassadors and students of non-economics higher education institutions. The event will take place as part of Global Money Week, an international awareness campaign aimed at improving financial literacy among young people.<\/p>\n
Global Money Week has been held on a large scale in Uzbekistan since 2020 under the coordination of the Central Bank and has become one of the key platforms for promoting financial literacy. The campaign brings together the efforts of relevant ministries, educational institutions, commercial banks, government agencies, payment organizations, and other partners, covering all regions of the country. In 2024 alone, more than 140 events were held as part of Global Money Week, with the participation of over 123,000 schoolchildren, students, and young professionals.<\/p>\n
In 2025, the national payment system UZCARD joined the group of participating organizers, highlighting the expansion of the campaign\u2019s partnership base and the growing role of the private sector in developing young people\u2019s financial, economic, and digital culture.<\/p>\n
The upcoming ZAKOVAT game will serve as an intellectual continuation of the educational program \u201cFinancial Literacy Ambassadors in Non-Economics Universities,\u201d<\/strong> implemented by the Central Bank jointly with UZCARD. The project covers 30 universities across the country and provides ambassadors with an opportunity to undergo training, while students of non-financial fields can complete a financial literacy course.<\/p>\n The ZAKOVAT format will enable participants not only to test their knowledge but also to develop analytical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills in non-standard situations. Particular attention will be given to the practical understanding of financial matters young people encounter in everyday life, including personal budget management, responsible use of financial services, digital payments, savings, and financial security.<\/p>\n The organizers note that such initiatives contribute to shaping a new generation of financially literate young people capable of making well-balanced financial decisions, managing personal resources effectively, and confidently navigating the modern digital economy.<\/p>\n Participation in the game is expected to become not only a valuable educational experience for students but also an additional incentive for professional development, strengthening leadership qualities, and increasing interest in financial literacy as an essential life competency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":22883,"template":"","categories":[81,58],"class_list":["post-22882","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en","category-press-en"],"acf":{"news_gallery":false},"yoast_head":"\n
