The session examined four practical examples from Uzbekistan: interoperability between the UZCARD and HUMO payment systems, open banking, an AI-based alternative creditworthiness assessment system, and a regulatory sandbox.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion also demonstrated how innovations are developed and implemented in Uzbekistan\u2019s financial sector, and how cooperation between regulators and market participants helps expand access to financial services.<\/p>\n<p>Participants included Dilbar Abduganieva, Jamshid Usmanov, David Melikidze, Shokhpur Gulturaev and Sheruan Bashar.<\/p>\n<p>Financial Inclusion Week, organised annually by the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion, is one of the leading international forums dedicated to inclusive finance. The 2026 event took place on October 5\u20138 under the theme \u201cInclusive Innovation: Building Financial Systems That Work for Everyone\u201d and brought together more than 3,000 participants and over 300 expert speakers from around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UZCARD.
