In March of this year, a press conference was held at the headquarters of UZCARD on the topic “Your Instant UZCARD.” During the event, company representatives announced a new service available for participating banks in the UZCARD payment system, allowing for the instant issuance of new UZCARDs with NFC support for bank customers.<\/p>\n

As demonstrated at the press conference, the personalization process for a UZCARD, from the moment a customer requests it to its issuance and activation, takes about 5 minutes. The new UZCARDs are embossed dual cards, which can be used for both contact and contactless payments using NFC technology in retail outlets, ATM services, and “one-touch” payments for public transport.<\/p>\n
The previously announced list of UZCARD payment system participant banks offering the distributed issuance service for UZCARD plastic cards is continually expanding.<\/p>\n

Now, new UZCARDs with NFC support can be obtained at Xalq Banki branches across the Republic of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n
Currently, the instant issuance of UZCARDs is available at the following banks:<\/p>\n
This coverage extends to approximately 50% of the bank branches in the republic.<\/p>\n

The UZCARD team is actively moving towards the development and implementation of modern services and tools for the participating banks of the payment system, which will continuously contribute to a high level of customer service and a new consumer experience.
