UZCARD and TBC Bank have announced the launch of a long-term strategic partnership aimed at developing TBC Bank’s card products.
In the first phase of the strategic partnership, the two companies plan to jointly implement a project to issue 1 million TBC Salom UZCARD bank cards, followed by an expansion of their cooperation and an increase in the scale of issuance. The cards are scheduled to be issued in the coming months. The parties view this project as a long-term initiative to develop modern card products and digital payment infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
As part of their partnership, UZCARD and TBC Bank plan to develop the product’s digital and technical infrastructure, set up remote card issuance and ongoing customer service, and implement joint marketing initiatives aimed at increasing the number of active TBC Salom UZCARD holders.
TBC Salom UZCARD will be developed as a long-term card product offering a modern suite of services and benefits for customers. One of the card’s additional benefits will be the integration of ATTO transportation services, including the ability to use transfer fares on public transportation. The parties also intend to coordinate technical solutions and develop partnerships with other companies and organizations that contribute to the product’s further growth.
